Does anyone remember sampler CDs at record stores?

This band was on a local Ohio record label’s 2006 fall sampler, where only 500 were made. And I’d be lying if I told you I could remember any other track off that CD. But this song by Every Gentle Air was a standout.

While their whole album, Pt. 2, is solid — Ann Arbor, Michigan has a wonderful child-like chaotic serenity; melodies of hope.
